How do I save individual product images from the website?

Navigate to the product you are looking for (e.g. B-2).
Right-Click on the small product thumbnail image. This will open a dialogue box "Open Link In New Tab".
Click "Open Link In New Tab", a new tab will open with the full size image loaded.
Right-click "Save Image As" on the image you wish to download.

How do I save all product images for a certain style?

Navigate to the product you are looking for (e.g. GWJ-1).
Scroll down to the "Tab" section below the product images.
Click on the "Marketing Tools" tab.
Under "Image Downloads" click the link that states "Click here for images".

How do I obtain 300dpi images for hi-res printing?

The image size provided in our download packages is adequate for most hi-res print applications up to: 5.5” X 8” @300DPI AND GENERAL PRINTING TO 11”X16” @150DPI. For digital applications, our downloadable images are significantly larger than an entire 1080p HD monitor.

Unless the final output size is larger than 11x16" or an entire 1080p HD monitor, our downloadable images from the website will suit your application.

Exceptions requiring larger images include point-of-sale banners or other oversized signage. For these special cases a custom image request must be sent to our graphics team (please include exact image names and specifications from your print house, within an email addressed to info@stormtech.ca).

Why do the downloadable images show 72ppi though, these aren't 300dpi? PPI (Pixels Per Inch) or DPI (Dots Per Inch) are largely arbitrary settings. In fact, the ability to set PPI/DPI has been removed from new image formats such as the .PNG image.

The removal of PPI settings on modern image formats is due unnecessary confusion PPI/DPI settings introduce in graphics workflows.

To demonstrate, below is a comparison of the same image with two common PPI settings.

What's the best way to get Stormtech on my website, app, or social media page?

My Web Developer requested an import file, can you help?

We offer a Google Shopping formatted XML feed seasonal that includes all catalog products, descriptions, style codes, style names. Click here for inventory integration.

Images may be downloaded at the following URL syntax with the "Style Code" updated for each style: http://www.stormtech.ca/drop/imagePackage/GTP-1.zip "GTP-1.zip" is an example, all catalog style images can be downloaded this way by replacing "GTP-1" with the desired style code.

Please note the organization, architecture, and maintenance of databases and customizations for various app / website integrations will be best performed directly with your Web Developer or vendor.

Another tip, is to start your program with a certain subset of products tailored to your audience. This approach is quicker and more efficient than attempting to add all products immediately.

Does Stormtech offer data feeds through Promotional Product Industry sites?

Yes, Stormtech also maintains full product and image databases at various promotional product industry organizations. These organizations offer various distributor website solutions and upgrade paths to e-commerce, selected styles, custom forms etc.

Promotional product distributors can contact PPAI/SAGE, ASI/ESP, or PPPC/PROMOCAN at the links below to access services offered from those databases.

How do I get live inventory on my website?

Stormtech provides a variety of integration options and paths outlined on this FAQ page. Inventory integration is also available with authorization from your Key Account Manager.

*Please note, this data will change occasionally and will require ongoing maintenance by your web developer to stay up to date. In the case of any discrepancy, the information found on http://www.stormtech.ca will be deemed correct.

Another way to provide inventory is simply linking product pages to our distributor website product page. The Stormtech Performance Apparel distributor websites provide real-time inventory information for every product we sell. For example, a “Check Inventory” link on your product page would link directly to our corporate website product page (displaying real-time inventory).

If you require further assistance from our IT or Digital departments, please contact your KAM or sales representative to determine specific options available for your business.

Can I use Stormtech's hosted product images directly on my website?

Please download images to your own server whenever possible to avoid broken images in the future. Stormtech website image URL's will change from season to season causing remotely linked images to break. In the case that an image has been linked to a third-party website directly (without being downloaded and moved to your own server first) these images can break when Stormtech publishes seasonal updates. Dynamic RSS/HTML feeds will update images automatically from our servers (see our XML feeds).

Stormtech is also able to provide a download package of all images to make it easier for your web developer or vendor to publish them to your server.

How do I show Stormtech video loops in a showroom or trade show display?

You can download and use our showroom video loops at point of sale, or when displaying Stormtech product to customers.
